URINE FOR OCCULT BLO
The Urine for Occult Blood test is used to detect the presence of hidden (not visible) blood in the urine. Even when urine appears normal in color, small amounts of blood (red blood cells or hemoglobin) may be present and can be identified through this test.
A positive result may indicate conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney stones, kidney disease, trauma, or tumors of the urinary tract. It may also be seen after strenuous exercise or in certain inflammatory conditions. Doctors often recommend this test when patients have symptoms like pain during urination, abdominal or back pain, or as part of routine urine examination.
