IGG TO T.SOLIUM

IgG to T. solium is a blood test used to detect IgG antibodies against Taenia solium, the parasite responsible for cysticercosis. It may be recommended when symptoms or imaging findings raise suspicion of parasitic infection. A positive result indicates exposure to the parasite but does not always confirm an active infection. Results should be interpreted along with symptoms, imaging studies, and other clinical findings.
