HBcAb Total (Total Hepatitis B Core Antibody) is a blood test that detects both IgM and IgG antibodies against the Hepatitis B core antigen. It helps determine whether a person has been exposed to Hepatitis B virus at some point. A positive result can indicate past or current infection, but it does not show immunity from vaccination. Results should be interpreted along with other Hepatitis B markers.
